Recently, the Apple devices have created a lot of buzz in the electronics world due to the development of new technology based electronic products like the iPad, the iPod touch and the iPhones. However, the users of the computer world consider the newly launched HP slate to be a competitor to the Apple's iPad. Apart from the software part of the HP slate, undoubtedly the HP slate is in no way less than the Apple's product iPad. Initially, before the release of the HP slate, the news was out, that the HP slate will access full version of the Windows 7, which was considered a positive point, however, it turned out to be a downfall rather as the performance of the HP slate degrades due to this. It is still better to but the HP slate as it supports Flash and has HDMI dock, the USB ports with compatibility to software and an internal camera. It is being heard that the time required to load the Operating System is quite long, but probably, before the HP slate makes it official release, all its flaws will be amended and it will be worth to purchase the HP slate. Nevertheless, the fact, that HP slate which was thought to be a competitor to the Apple's product iPad, now does not seem to be true but still it can be recommended for purchasing in order to fulfill the minor tasks and along with, all the other features of the HP slate which one may not find in the iPad can also be enjoyed.
